It is just a short walk to the heart of Birnam's friendly community and arts facilities and Dunkeld's artisan shops and eateries are just a leisurely stroll away along the banks of the river Tay and over the elegant Telford bridge.
Dunaird Cottage is nestled in the courtyard of Dunaird House, a Scottish baronial style mansion, which was designed to make the most of the stunning views of Birnam Hill from the gardens of its hilltop location.
Inside, there is a cosy kitchen/diner and lounge area with sofa bed, a double bedroom and shower room with toilet, and outside, a sheltered outdoor seating area with firepit/BBQ. Bedding, towels and welcome pack is included. You can view a video with more details here.

A local bakery, butcher, deli and market with organic and locally sourced ingredients make it easy to eat well when you self cater - or you can treat yourself to treats and meals out at our local cafes, restaurants and pub with menus to suit every preference and dietary requirement.

If your booking is made more than 1 month before arrival, we will invoice you for a refundable £100 breakages deposit to secure the booking and invoice you for the balance 1 month before arrival. If your booking is made less than 1 month before arrival, the full cost of the stay and the refundable £100 breakages deposit are payable at the time of booking.

With a train station and bus stops all in walking/cycling distance, it is easy to get to Dunaird Cottage and explore the local area without a car. We are passionate about autistic inclusion and have designed the accommodation at Dunaird Cottage to be as accessible and autism friendly as possible.
