Dunkeld and Birnam, known as the gateway to the Highlands, is a perfect place to relax, rejuvinate and enjoy the fresh air, clear waters, stunning views, beautiful walks of Perthshire's "big tree" countryside and lots of other outdoor pursuits!

It is just a short walk to the heart of Birnam's friendly community and arts facilities and Dunkeld's artisan shops and eateries are just a leisurely stroll away along the banks of the river Tay and over the elegant Telford bridge.

Dunaird Cottage is nestled in the courtyard of Dunaird House, a Scottish baronial style mansion, which was designed to make the most of the stunning views of Birnam Hill from the gardens of its hilltop location.

Inside, there is a cosy kitchen/diner and lounge area with sofa bed, a double bedroom and shower room with toilet, and outside, a sheltered outdoor setting area with firepit/BBQ. Bedding, towels and welcome pack is included.

Book now by sending us your preferred dates from the available options and we will send you an invoice for a deposit to secure your booking and invoice you for the balance 1 week before you arrive.

£125/night Sun-Thurs* -- £175/night Fri-Sat* -- Additional one off cleaning fee for bringing pets: £25 per pet per stay

Payment for stay due 1 month before arrival - £200 deposit, refundable on date of departure

Subject to availability: Sun-Thurs 1 night stay: £200/night, weekly stays (6 nights): £750, longer stays by arrangement - please contact us.

 

*Minimum 2 night stay except bank holidays and festive occasions (Christmas, New Year, Valentines Day, Easter, May Bank Holiday, August Bank Holiday) which are minimum 3 night stays.

With a train station and bus stops all in walking/cycling distance, it is easy to get to Dunaird Cottage and explore the local area without a car. We are passionate about autistic inclusion and have designed the accomodation at Dunaird Cottage to be as accessible and autism friendly as possible.
